The resulting coating is very precise and even, regardless of the shape of the piece. This property, together with its high hardness and wear resistance, has made it a very general treatment for many demanding applications. Chemical nickel plating is well suited for aluminium, brass and steel. Corrosion resistance is also good with coatings over 25\u00b5m.
